Dr. Philipp Hensler (Founding Partner & CEO)
Dr. Philipp Hensler was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Epoch Investment Partners, New York and Head of Global Institutional Asset Management for TD Asset Management. Prior to joining Epoch, Dr. Hensler held other high-profile executive positions including President and CEO of Vontobel Asset Management Inc. and CEO & Chairman of Oppenheimer Funds Distributors, both in New York. He also spent over a decade at Deutsche Asset Management/DWS Investments, where he held numerous leadership roles in Europe and the United States. He holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and has a doctorate degree from Case Western University. His academic research focus was on designing sustainable systems that can survive in the face of unexpected disruptions.


Dr. John Tang (Advisory Board Member)
Dr. John Tang is a seasoned AI Leader, Investor and Research Scientist. He is currently a Senior Advisor to a number of Funds on investments in AI, Strategic Technology Supply Chains and Digital Infrastructure.
Previously, John served as Managing Director & Head of EMEA of the Technology Practice at Cerberus Capital Management. In his role, John provided both deal sourcing and technology subject matter expertise across a number of fund strategies including the Cerberus Supply Chain Fund Strategy, a dual-use multi-stage investment fund. John leveraged both his technical and commercial experience across the deal lifecycle from market mapping, leading over 100+ technical due diligences and supporting founders/management/boards. Prior to Cerberus, John served as the Chief Data Scientist at Barclays UK, EMEA Head of Data Science at JPMorgan Chase and have advised executive teams and boards on large scale data strategy and digital transformation.
John has strong links across the deeptech investment community serving as Advisor Mission Link UK, Global Coach for NATO DIANA, Mentor on Intel Ignite and Coach on Conception-X.
John received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in Computer Science and maintains strong links to Academia as an Honorary Lecturer at University College London.
Bio Reaz Jafri (Advisory Board Member)
Based in New York City, Reaz is an internationally recognized attorney and consultant. Reaz founded and headed up the global immigration practice at Withers, the world's leading private client-focused law firm - where he remains Of Counsel. Additionally, Reaz is the CEO of Dasein Advisors, a boutique firm he founded in 2018 that advises UHNW families across the globe on citizenship and residency strategies as a hedge against political, commercial, financial, personal and other risks. In recognition for his work in impacting US immigration law and having founded Withers Global Advisors - now called Dasein Advisors - Reaz was awarded and recognized as an Immigration Trailblazer by America's The National Law Journal. Reaz is routinely quoted in publications such as Barron's, Business Insider, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal,Forbes and CNBC. When not travelling the world on client matters, Reaz splits his time between Manhattan and Sag Harbor, NY.


William (Bill) Priest CFA (Advisory Board Member)
Bill co-founded Epoch in 2004 and holds the roles of Executive Chairman, Co-Chief Investment Officer, and Portfolio Manager of the company’s global equity investment strategies. He is also the architect of the Shareholder Yield strategies. In addition, Bill leads the Investment Policy Group, a forum for analysing broader secular and cyclical trends that Epoch believes will influence investment opportunities. He is the author of several published articles and papers on investing and finance, including the book Shareholder Yield: New Priorities for the Global Investor, which details the underpinnings of Epoch’s investment approach. Bill holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is a former CPA and a graduate of Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Graduate School of Business
